Working in the Children and Family Health One Stop, you will be managing incoming calls (referral and enquiries). You will also facilitate case flows within the service for allotted appointments, clinician advice, rapid clinical triage and professional referrals. You will be the initial point of contact for clinical queries, providing appropriate advice and guidance, and navigating the referrer/caller to the right care pathway or service in a timely and efficient manner with the aid of the Service Directory, in order to ensure the One Stop operates a no wrong door approach.

As a Senior Clinical Specialist (UM Clinician), you will be primarily engaged in staff facing interventions. In collaboration with local CAMHS teams, you will review the flow into and out of community CAMHS services. You will support effective care planning and discharge/step-down planning to ensure care delivery is clinically appropriate and justified at each level of care.

This senior role incorporates addressing referrals and queries that are escalated from junior members of the team due to complexity and/or risk, ensuring the safe and efficient processing of referrals to clinical services.
